NICK MYERHOFF (he/him)
Broker/Owner
Nick has been investing in real estate for more than 20 years and has helped clients and partners successfully complete transactions in excess of $50 million throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. His expertise includes forming partnerships, repositioning assets, completing 1031 exchanges, overseeing construction projects, and resolving tenant negotiations.
Nick is uniquely qualified to handle nearly any type of real estate endeavor. Previously, he thrived as a bicycle designer and video game artist working with software developers such as Electronic Arts. His vast network of industry connections including lenders, legal advisors, architects, and engineers lends immediate value to every client.
Despite his busy schedule, Nick finds time to surf, travel, and raise two teenage girls.

LAURA SHY (she/her)
Agent/Property Manager
Laura Shy, a pivotal member of the Myerhoff team, has resided in Oakland for 15+ years.
With a background in the food industry, she transitioned into property management after serving as a tenant and on-site manager. Laura swiftly earned accreditation in property management and a real estate license. She excels in real estate sales, commercial property underwriting, and comparable sales analysis.
Notably, she has placed nearly 1,000 residents over the past 5 years, emphasizing her commitment to customer service. Laura adeptly mediates between tenants, contractors, and owners while balancing parenting duties for three children.

CHANDRA BENITEZ (She/Her)
Assistant Property Manager
Chandra Benitez has been organizing and facilitating community projects since she first came to Alameda, a small Island in the San Francisco Bay Area, in 2007. She has had a decade of on-site apartment management experience making her a fantastic addition to our team.
She also has a long history of working with children, developmentally disabled adults, and The Girl Scouts. She likes crafting, puzzles, her two cats, and loves spending time with her two wonderful children.
SASCHA BROWN (they/them)
Resident Manager
Sascha Brown was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. Sascha recently obtained their Masters in Management from Mills College and has over 10 years of work experience in Higher Education. They enjoy traveling, hiking, and exploring the hidden gems of California. Sascha’s friendly demeanor, responsiveness, and ability to listen makes them an excellent liaison between tenants and the off-site management team.
LISA HELENA-PRIO (She/Her)
Bookkeeper/Executive Admin
Lisa Helina-Prior, an early tech industry pioneer, was among Microsoft’s first 25 employees. Initially aspiring to pursue lobbying, her path shifted when she took a summer job at Microsoft while attending Seattle University. This opportunity led her to Australia, where she played a pivotal role in establishing Microsoft’s presence.
Lisa is not only a professional achiever but also an enthusiastic adventurer, passionate about flying, sailing, and travel. She finds tranquility in her Alameda home with her husband and two children, enjoying yoga and dog walks. Lisa’s remarkable generosity and willingness to help others further distinguish her character.
LISA LEWERKE (She/Her)
Bookkeeper
Lisa Lewerke is a multifaceted individual, blending adventure, fitness, and business acumen. She excels as an adventurer, workout enthusiast, and ultra runner while also navigating the challenges of being a landlord.
Lisa is adept at managing multiple pursuits efficiently and is passionate about optimizing business profits. She emphasizes the importance of strategic planning to attain substantial objectives.
As a key contributor to back-end operations, Lisa meticulously handles financial matters, ensuring thorough accountability each month. Her diverse skill set and commitment make her an indispensable asset to the team.
ANTHONY BICKEL (he/him)
Maintenance Manager
Anthony Bickel, a seasoned Oakland resident, divides his time between Oakland and Thailand, where he has a family compound. Married with children and grandchildren, he enjoys traveling, Thai kickboxing, and NASCAR.
With over 30 years of construction experience, Anthony excels in plumbing, electrical work, concrete, and framing. He is known for his versatility in fixing various items and his amiable rapport with residents, making him a valuable asset in the field of construction.
JOSE MORALES (He/Him)
Electrician/Contractor
Jose Morales, also known as Lupe, resides in Hayward and cherishes his role as a family man. Bonding over their shared trade, Jose and his son frequently collaborate as a dynamic duo on larger electrical projects.
With over a decade of experience, Jose has been an integral part of numerous projects, both small and large, including upgrading service for large apartment buildings and new construction for ADUs.
Outside of work, he finds joy in soccer matches, family trips to Disneyland, and spending quality time with his German Shepherd.
ALICE MYERHOFF (she/her)
Sales Consultant
Alice Myerhoff brings to Myerhoff & Associates, Inc. 25+ years of experience developing deep and fruitful relationships with partners and clients who want to grow their business. Her past experience includes roles as VP of Sales for EdSurge, a vertical news organization focused on education and SVP of Sales and Business Development for Inman News, the leading independent media company servicing the real estate & technology community.
Her experience as an in-house mortgage broker in a Coldwell Banker office was key to building the foundation of Myerhoff & Associates, Inc.’s real estate portfolio. She is the author of “Social Media for Salespeople” and she is an avid cyclist, riding thousands of miles to raise funds for organizations like Habitat for Humanity, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and World Bicycle Relief.
Alice has lived abroad extensively initially as an Air Force “brat” and then studying abroad in Bordeaux, France. She continues to travel for pleasure as much as possible and wishes she had more opportunities to speak German and French.
