Meet the Team


NICK MYERHOFF Nick has been helping real estate investors manage and grow their commercial real estate portfolios for over fifteen years. He has completed numerous complex transactions including condo-conversions in San Francisco, REO and distressed sales in Oakland, 1031 exchanges, broken condos and complicated inter-family transactions held with multiple trustees. Helping people come up with a strategy that protects and grows their real estate holdings gives Nick great sense of accomplishment. He has a vast network of lenders, managers, and contractors that immediately add value to any investor. Nick’s background is in computer graphics. He had a long and successful career as a video game designer working for top companies such as Electronic Arts. Throughout his working life he has been investing in real estate and currently owns and manages over 40 units in Sacramento, Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Nick’s top three tenets are Honesty, Integrity and Hard Work. He is fortunate enough to be able to choose whom he works with, and limits the number of clients each year to no more than 10. Sales AssociateMatt studied Journalism and History at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. He is a competitive fencer, accomplished tango dancer and concert pianist. As the newest licensed member of Myerhoff & Associates, Matt brings exceptional language arts, negotiation and leadership skills. Matt handles rent collections, tenant notices, leasing, escrow tracking and administrative tasks as well as sales.
Real Estate Sales, Property ManagementBorn and raised in the bay area, Madelyn comes to the team with a wealth of experience that spans over 10 years in the hospitality, real estate, and tech industries. She’s exceptionally detail oriented, dedicated and passionate about her work. Madelyn has a family history of real estate ownership and management across multiple asset classes.
Maintenance ManagerLaura Shy was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. While earning a Bachelors of Art from the University of Georgia, she managed a restaurant, coffee shop, and bar. She moved to Oakland and continued working in the service industry as she started a family. Her keen organizational skills, high level of customer service, and friendly demeanor makes her an excellent liaison between the off­site management team, contractors, and tenants.
Office and Operations ManagerAmy is a friendly project manager with over 5 years experience in technology and education. Her specialties include account management, project coordination, and operations programs. She studied Globalization at the University of Minnesota, where she was active in the liberal arts honor society and participated in a year-long internship in Rajasthan, India. Her passions include human collaboration, intercultural communication, literacy and home-cooked meals.
Maintenance ManagerAnthony Bickel is married with 2 kids and one grand baby. He likes to travel, eat exotic food and has been studying Thai Kick-boxing to stay in shape. He has been involved in construction for over 30 years and still has a passion for it. Anthony has expertise in plumbing, electric, concrete and framing.
